The Crying Thief is an elite enemy in the Integrated Strategies game mode of Arknights.

Enemy description
A Perro who left his family to seek out a new life... but all that people know is that he is always weeping.

Overview

Obedient Perro. Invisible, attacks cause Stun, drops Treasure when defeated.
—Tooltip

A bestial Perro and a nephew of the Teary Detective[1] who develops a timid disposition after losing his job, leaving his family behind, and suffering from amnesia, the Crying Thief acts as a "bonus enemy" in which letting him into a Protection Objective will not deduct the player's Life Points and defeating him awards the player with a Collectible once the operation is cleared, thus taking on the Crying Thief is entirely optional in the event he spawns.

Although the Crying Thief has low stats outside of his above-average HP, he is invisible and attacks with a below-the-belt kick that Stuns the target for 4 seconds. This makes blocking the Crying Thief to reveal him short-lived and the player should make use of burst damage to take advantage of the brief moment the Thief loses his invisibility. Alternatively, Lee can Stun back the Crying Thief with his Preparedness Averts Peril and Lessing can become immune to Negative Statuses including Stun with Skill-Lessing3.png Oathbreaker. Having detectors at the ready (e.g. SilverAsh due to his Eagle Eye and Horn with Skill-Horn1.png Flare Grenade) will allow the player to make short work of Crying Thief.

Other than the above, the Crying Thief may spawn in any (Emergency) Operation after all other enemies are defeated, but never together with the Duck Lord and Gopnik.
