A mutant juggernaut derived from an unknown Terran creature turned into a living weapon with a highly resilient exoskeleton, Originiutants have sheer DEF and RES – some of the highest mixed defenses in Arknights that is almost comparable to that of Patriot's in his Marching Stance, making Pure damage or debuff stacking the only way to deal noticeable damage towards them. In addition, Originiutants also have a very strong melee Arts attack that is the bane of most melee Operators, allowing them to dispatch any units sent to block them.
Despite their ungodly resilience, Originiutants have a surprisingly mediocre HP and both moves and attacks at a slow pace, thus they can be easily eliminated once their defenses are somehow bypassed (notably by using High-Energy Originium Bombs) before they reach their targets or stalled using high-HP blockers.
