The Sarkaz Royal Court Caster is an elite enemy in Arknights.

Enemy description

A caster of the Sarkaz Royal Court. Sarkaz witchcraft is often more dangerous in battle than war machines. They boast a distinctly Sarkaz fighting style, but with greater discipline.

Overview

A Kazdelian Sarkaz elite caster of the Royal Court, Sarkaz Royal Court Casters have high HP and a damaging ranged Arts attack that inflicts Necrosis Damage equal to 25% of their ATK in each attack. In addition, they are also capable of locking onto a friendly unit within range and "leash" them similarly to Sarkaz Casters, but only dealing Arts damage equal to 40% of their ATK every second for 8 seconds. If the Royal Court Caster leashes the friendly for the full duration of 8 seconds, they will unleash a burst on the target that deals Necrosis Damage equal to 220% of their ATK to the target and friendly units in the adjacent tiles, which is more than enough to instantly make friendly units' build-up bar reach 1000. The leash attack has a cooldown of 10 seconds from when the Royal Court Caster spawns and every 24 seconds after, and can be Silenced unless when the Caster is already leashing a friendly (which means Silencing the Caster at this point won't interrupt the attack).
