The Enraged Possessed Thrower is an elite enemy in Arknights.

Enemy description

An enemy ranged combatant who has slowly descended into primal madness as their lifeforce is consumed. The infection has penetrated their bone marrow, and they will hurl whatever they can get their hands on at their targets. The appearance of such an aberration on the battlefield is almost beyond imagination.

A Possessed Soldier who went berserk as their life force slowly burns away after Mephisto forcibly "enhances" them and indiscriminately attacks anyone, whether friend or foe (unfortunately, they do not do so in-game), Enraged Possessed Throwers attack by throwing pieces of Originium infused to their body from a medium range and are otherwise similar to Enraged Possessed Soldiers, only having lower HP and ATK, and losing less HP over time (250 HP per second).

Compared to Enraged Possessed Soldiers, Enraged Possessed Throwers are more manageable especially out of the fact that they will remain stationary when attacking due to their attack interval being as long as, if not shorter than, their attack animation, allowing Throwers to be easily stalled until they expire on their own by deploying a Defender on their way, preferably Bubble or Hoshiguma who can damage their attackers with "Beaten Up" and Thorns, respectively.
