The Bombtail is an elite enemy in Arknights.
Enemy description
An unmanned enemy drone that flies slowly. They carry an explosive warhead that is launched when approaching nearby Operators, inflicting physical damage in an area. Their design seems to have been inspired by a fantasy creature. Though they cannot attack anymore after launching the warhead, their movement speed increases afterwards due to the loss of weight.

Trivia[edit]
- The Bombtail is one of the few enemies whose name in other languages (except the Korean name) are not a direct translation of the Chinese name, which literally means "Violent Wagtail"; the Japanese name means "Bomb Bee".
- Some CN players refer to the Bombtail as "Violent Pigeon" (暴鸽), possibly because of misspelling or ignorance on the pronunciation of the Chinese word for wagtail (鸰, líng).
