- The Bombtail is one of the few enemies to carry different names under different languages; its CN name means "Violent Wagtail" and its JP name means "Bomb Bee". The KR name is simply the transliteration of the Chinese name.
- Some CN players refer to the "Violent Wagtail" (暴鸰) as "Violent Pigeon" (暴鸽), possibly because of misspelling or ignorance on the pronunciation of the Chinese word for wagtail (鸰, líng).
