Accuracy
Accuracy (hit rate in-game; the Arknights Terra Wiki will use "Accuracy" outside of in-game texts for the sake of clarity) is an enemy mechanic in Arknights, introduced in Operation Lucent Arrowhead.
Overview[edit]
Certain Operators are capable of reducing enemies' accuracy, assumed to be at 100% by default, which causes their normal attacks to have a chance of missing the target as if it was dodged. However, missed attacks do not prevent the receiver from being affected by anything triggered by hitting the target, such as Negative Statuses from certain attacks and Elemental Injuries.
Missed attacks due to lowered accuracy do not trigger defensive SP recovery and the attacker will not receive damage from reflect skills/talents such as Hoshiguma's Thorns or Penance's Wreathed in Thorns talent, but the attacker can still be affected by negative statuses such Bubble's Spiked Shield. Missed attacks due to dodge effects are triggered separately from missed attacks due to accuracy reduction.
