Ammunition
Ammunition is a skill and enemy mechanic in Arknights.
Operator[edit]

Skills that use the ammunition mechanic does not end after a period of time. Instead, as soon as the skill is activated, it receives a number of ammo that is expended in each attack; the skill will only end once all ammo is depleted and can also be manually deactivated in order to expedite its reactivation.
From the Near Light update, skills that use the ammunition mechanic uses a special meter that displays its ammo count more accurately as orange bars; before this, the skill's meter was the same as all others.

Replenish[edit]

Certain skills can Replenish the ammunition of other Operators, replenishing its count which can be done even while their skill is active, effectively extending the skill's duration; however, there is a limit on how many ammo can be Replenished during any single skill activation, equal to their maximum ammo capacity.
Only Operators that currently have an ammo-type skill active can be targeted by Replenish effects.

- If an Eyes of the Sankta/Witness of the Sankta attacks a friendly currently holding ammo, the attack does no damage but deducts 1 ammo.

Certain enemies, nearly all of which are Lateran ones, use the ammunition mechanic where their ranged attacks have additional effects and will be used over their melee attack while they are blocked as long as the ammo supply holds out, which can only be reloaded by being in the vicinity of a hostile Gelato Stop although some are capable of reloading their ammo without Stops.[note 1]
