Fear is a Negative Status in Arknights, introduced in A Kazdelian Rescue.

Overview

Only enemies that can be Feared, which causes the victim to run away from the unit that inflicts Fear on them, taking precedence over their route (contrary to the in-game tip which suggests that the Feared enemy moves at random),[note 1] but cannot be blocked.

Notes

  1. Fear selects a passable ground tile that is neither a Hole nor a Protection Objective within a radius of 10 tiles to the victim and 45° of the line pointing away from the source, and causes the victim to continuously attempt to move toward a random tile within a radius of 5 tiles, even if the path is obstructed by Roadblocks. The aforementioned process is reset if the Fear effect is refreshed.
