Wild Beast

From Arknights Terra Wiki
Jump to navigation Jump to search

Wild Beasts are a type of enemies in Arknights, currently exclusive to Reclamation Algorithm.

Wild Beasts are Terran fauna that differs from Infected Creatures in which they are not Infected and are usually docile but will retaliate or run away when threatened, and can be hunted down for resources to aid the player.

Wild Beasts that could fight back but having no ranged attack will remain passive when attacked by a ranged friendly unit, although the Beast will still go after the closest melee friendly if one happen to be inside the attacker's attack range.

Capturing and taming[edit]

In Tales Within the Sand, Wild Beasts can be captured by using a Beast Trap or Hunting Net Launcher on one; should the Beast is successfully caught, it will be placed into a Game Holding Cage and added as the corresponding item to the inventory once the operation ends, where the Beast can then be placed in a (Large) Corral on the Headquarters to be tamed.

Sometimes the captured Wild Beast can have sparkles in its corresponding picture, which is considered a rare variant different from normal ones although they have no differences with the exception for Exotic Beasts (see below).

Tamed Wild Beasts may produce resources every cycle with the amount equal to how much they would have given when hunted down, with the exception of certain Beasts that gives out different resources when hunted and tamed. Resources given by multiple Beasts of the same type stacks, but only three Beasts of the same type will be able to produce resources, so it is advised to tame up to three Wild Beasts of each type for efficiency.
