The Beacon is a hidden normal enemy in Arknights that provides the namesake operation mechanic introduced in Episode 14.

Overview

A portable Sarkaz witchcraft altar used by the Nachzehrer army to draw away Active Originium Storms from their forces and draw them in toward enemy forces.

The most recently spawned Beacon will draw the Active Originium Storm to move towards it; if there are multiple, the active one is marked by a green line.
Passive

A Beacon can be spawned by deploying a Withered Altar and destroying it, at which one will appear on the spot.

Sarkaz Altar Keepers and Nourishers can pick up a Beacon and carry it until they leave the map, at which the Beacon is dropped on the spot.
