—Trait description (shared with Arts Fighter Guard and Hexer Supporter) |
Core Caster, colloquially known as Single-target/ST Caster, is a branch of the Caster class in Arknights.
Core Casters attack a single target at a time within a range of 3×3 initially or 3×3 with a 1-tile extension up front from Elite 1, and have the lowest attack interval and DP cost among Caster branches.

Strategies[edit]
- Core Casters excel at dealing single-target Arts DPS because of their balance of good ATK and attack speed among their peers. They will usually be the answer for dealing with high-DEF enemies that Sniper Operators cannot handle.
- Although other Caster branches tend to be more specialized, Core Casters are arguably the most well-rounded out of all of them.
Modules[edit]
- The CCR-X Module improves the Core Caster's effectiveness against enemies with high RES.
- The CCR-Y Module allows the Core Caster to charge up their skills faster when facing strong elite and boss enemies.
Tips[edit]
- Any form of RES reduction will make Core Casters better against enemies with high RES, specifically when against Elite and Boss enemies.
- Due to the way of how Arts damage are calculated, ASPD buffs directly increases Core Casters' damage output by the same percentage (especially with Operator Modules), unlike Physical damage which needs to consider flat DEF reduction first. For example, a +10 ASPD buff directly buffs their damage output by +10%.
