Fluorescent Spores

The Fluorescent Spores is a deployable device in the Stationary Security Service game mode of Arknights.

The Fluorescent Spores will be added to the Deployment Waiting Zone (or the Recuperation Area if the Waiting Zone is full) at periodic intervals as long as the Drifting Cabin is present; there is no limit on how many Spores can be present on the Recuperation Area. When the Spores is deployed, two Fluorescent Originium Slugs will be spawned on the spot after a brief delay, which will immediately move towards the nearest Protection Objective; both Fluorescent Originium Slugs are excluded from the enemy counter.

If the player is not paying attention, Fluorescent Spores can fill up the Deployment Waiting Zone (and the Preparation Area if they are ever reshuffled from the Recuperation Area), forcing the player to deploy them to clear the Waiting Zone and spawn Fluorescent Originium Slugs which can (and will) keep melee Operators busy blocking them due to their high DEF (unless if supported by Casters/Supporters or the melee Operator in question can deal Arts damage, which the Slugs are weak to since they have no RES), allowing other enemies to slip past them!
