The Shoddy Flashbang is a Haywire EC Unit in the Stationary Security Service game mode of Arknights, introduced in the mode's second rework and available in the Emergency Resupply mode of Security Missions listed below:

The player starts an operation with three Shoddy Flashbangs in the Preparation Area; they will never be among the initial units in the Deployment Waiting Zone. Should a Flashbang is ever transferred, it will trigger a disorienting flash that Stuns all friendly units on ranged tiles for a short time, which can be problematic if the player uses ranged Operators as their core units. What's worse, the Flashbang will be taken into the Recuperation Area instead of being removed outright like detrimental devices forcibly added by certain SSS bosses (e.g. Rupturing Canister) afterwards, resulting in an endless cycle of disorientation!

Shoddy Flashbangs can only be get rid of by using Reassignment Transmitters to remove them from the available units for the operation.
