Character voices (CVs), better known as voice actors (VAs), are people who provided their voice talent for characters in audiovisual media.

Like many other anime-styled mobile gacha games, Arknights feature CVs who voiced the dialogues of Operators, originally in Japanese only but later expanded to include the native languages of every Arknights servers and even the languages representing the characters' country of origin later on; the non-Japanese CVs are added over time.

Players can switch between the Operator's dialogue languages (with Japanese being the default) in the respective Operator's Profile menu and the CV menu in Options, which allows the player to switch the dialogues of multiple Operators based on their language (defaulting to Japanese ones if the Operator does not have dialogues of the chosen language yet) or faction.

Trivia

  • Many Arknights CVs share roles in other ACGN media; for further information, see Character voices/Shared roles.
  • Several Arknights CVs identify themselves as LGBTQ+.
  • Jesse Grimm and Lena Tiemann are the first Arknights CVs who voice one character in different languages (Lessing and Viviana's English and German voicelines).
  • Except for many Chinese ones, Arknights CVs voiced at most three Operators (not counting alternates).
    • Gui Niang/D. QQ, Xie Ying, and Zi Mao/Kousou Mao are currently the Arknights CVs with the most roles, having voiced no less than six Operators.
  • From Guide Ahead, newly introduced Operators in the Global server comes with English and Korean voicelines except in Episode 10: Shatterpoint (Chestnut and Rockrock), Stultifera Navis (Windflit), It's Been A While (Luo Xiaohei), and Il Siracusano/Mizuki & Caerula Arbor (Highmore, Qanipalaat, Quartz, Tulip).
    • Some Operators have their English/Korean voicelines added in the CN server before the respective Operator themselves are released in Global; as the result, their English/Korean voicelines are retroactively included upon the Operator's Global release rather than being included in the update where the dialogues are added in CN.
      • In the case of alternate Operators whose original versions haven't yet received English/Korean voicelines in Global but are added at the time of the alter's introduction in CN, the original's English/Korean voicelines would be retroactively added in the closest event on Global after the alter's release in CN.
    • Despite this, the trailer of events which introduces new Operators in the EN and KR servers still use Japanese voicelines until Come Catastrophes or Wakes of Vultures and The Rides to Lake Silberneherze, from which the KR and EN trailer uses Korean and English voicelines, respectively, thus making the latter the first event where the trailer uses the respective server's native languages. The Global-only animated PVs, however, remains exclusively using Japanese voicelines.
  • Azusa Tadokoro (Kroos and Texas), Yuuki Luna (Hibiscus and Jessica), and Kim Ha-young (Jessica and Lava) are the first CV of their respective language who voiced multiple Operators with an alternate version.
