The following story is played in the middle of the operation.

[A squad of Sarkaz Witherers accompanied by a Rotchaser move in towards Siege, but she eliminates them without much trouble with support from Dagda, Hibiscus, and Totter. However, a Londinium Precision Mobile Defense Artillery shows up.]

Allerdale Watch out!
I won't let them harm you...

[The Artillery closes in and prepares to unleash a barrage on Siege and co. just as Allerdale shows up and uses her protective Arts on Siege and Dagda before withdrawing, allowing them to withstand the barrage and the gang eventually destroyed the Artillery. Allerdale shows up again shortly after, looking at the motionless power armor of the last of the Steam Knights...]

Allerdale What's this... Steam Knights? Is this my fate?

[...and touches him, only for the Steam Knight to suddenly come back to life as the second half of Wecgas fore tham Cynge, Searu fore tham Ethle plays in the background.]

Siege There's no such thing as fate, Allerdale!
Totter He's coming!
Siege Lift your head up, Allerdale! We'll stop him here!
Allerdale Vina... how could a traitor like me challenge fate?

[Allerdale withdraws as the Steam Knight stands back up and advances. Totter provides covering fire, but his crossbow barely scratches the Steam Knight's power armor as he closes in to Dagda. The last Tower Knight engages the Steam Knight, but Dagda stands no chance against Victoria's finest and gets knocked out. The Steam Knight continues advancing and engages Siege, but even she could not withstand the Steam Knight's assault and are taken down. Allerdale shows up yet again...]

[...and casted her protective Arts on the Protection Objective before withdrawing as the Steam Knight is closing in with no one standing in his way, and him being too close for Totter to fire. Thanks to Allerdale's Arts, the player's Life Points are not penalized when the Steam Knight enters the Objective.]
