About
Arknights is a mobile tower defense (TD) game developed by Hypergryph. It was first released in China (CN) on May 1, 2019, followed by releases in Japan, Korea, North America, Europe, and Southeast Asia (collectively referred to as Global) by Yostar on January 16, 2020, and in Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macau (TW) by Longcheng on June 29, 2020.

At first glance, Arknights may appear to be a typical TD game, but it distinguishes itself with a high level of difficulty due to intricate map designs, unique enemy mechanics, and complex combat puzzles. A core strength of the game lies in Operator management—strategically deploying units and using their abilities effectively is essential for success. Additionally, the game includes a robust base-building system that supports resource generation and Operator development.

Arknights uses a gacha system for acquiring new Operators. However, most stages are designed to be completable using Operators of more common rarities. The Recruitment system also allows players to obtain many older, high-rarity Operators for free, though this is relatively rare.

Due to staggered release schedules and other regional differences, the Global server is typically about 6 months behind the CN server, while the TW server currently lags by 7 months, placing it approximately a month behind Global.

It's time to dive into December, Doctors!

Now that the curtains are called and the cameras are off, what better after-party is there than another reminiscence to the past? It's time to dive back into Aegir and connect the land and sea once more! Additionally, as thanks for assisting our defense lines, the Procurement Department rewards a certain sea patroller with a new outfit! Let's kick the holidays off with a splash!

Featured Operator
Underflow Skin 1.png
Underflow is a 5★ Sentry Protector Defender introduced in the release of Path of Life. She is also the welfare Operator of the event.

A member of the Joint Marine Corps, Underflow also lends her hand to Rhodes Island's defense line, dealing DoT Arts damage on attacking (with a doubled advantage over Sea Monster-type enemies). Her skills allow her to boost her ATK and DEF, or simultaneously boost her ATK and ASPD, expand her range and fire toxic finspines that pierce through and inflict Slow onto enemies.

Underflow is voiced in Japanese by Kayo Ishida, who is known for her roles as Parfait in Path to Nowhere and Rosaria Eleanor in Noblesse; and in English by Kelsey Jaffer, who is best known for her roles as Yaoyao in Genshin Impact and Jane Doe in Zenless Zone Zero.

Like most welfare Operators, Underflow receives an outfit for the rerun of PL (Laminar Flow, as pictured above).
