Rebbahs/Reprobas have the traits of hyenas, which can be seen from the shape of their ears and tails.

Etymology
- Rebbah likely derives from the Maltese word "to cause to win," rebbaħ.[1] Its root word is the Arabic word for "to win," rabbaḥa ( رَبَّحَ). It is meant to reflect the brash nature of a hyena.[2]
- Reproba derives from Reprobus, a name for Saint Christopher. In Eastern Orthodox Church, he is often depicted as a person with a dog head.
