Oni

The Oni (both singular and plural) are a race in the world of Arknights.

Description

The Oni closely resemble the Sarkaz such as one or two horns on their foreheads, but they have a taller, bulkier, and muscular stature among both men and women. They are well-known for their rough nature due to their body strength.

Oni, similar with the Anasa, share a common origin with the Sarkaz as an offshot of the Teekaz. As a matter of fact, Oni are one of the few Sarkaz branches that don't possess any connection with the Royal Court, and are believed to be descended from the tribes that followed "Kollam the Errant Overlord", the King of Sarkaz who led the eastern migration. Today, majority of the Oni are known to inhabits Higashi.

Etymology

They are obviously Terra's version of a demon or ogre from Japanese mythology (鬼おに).
