Archosauria
The Archosauria (pl. Archosaurians) are an Ancient race in the world of Arknights.
Description[edit]
Archosaurians have bulky, scaly tails, scales on their bodies, a muscular build, and prefers moist environments. Most of them are humanoids with a pair of pointed ears in a similar fashion with the Phidians. Some Archosaurians also demonstrate sexual dimorphism in which male Archosaurians can possess more bestial traits when compared with females.
Archosaurians are famous for being tough warriors and hunters. Their bulky muscles grant them the physical might, and their warrior culture encourages them to become fighters. Besides, They are born excellent swimmers; they have the ability to wade in the water by swinging their bulky tails. As a matter of fact, not only an Archosaurian could fight with their muscular strength, but also they are ambushers who can perfectly hide themselves in the swamps and rivers.[1]
Although being an uncommon race of Terra, Archosaurians are predominantly found in the eastern rainforest of Sargon, especially in the region of Acahualla where they are the natives. Acahuallan Archosaurians proudly crown themselves as "Tiacauh," an honorary title that is said to be granted from the Aslan Shahanshah who was amazed by their courage, and this title will later be adopted by non-Archosaurian Acahuallans who later integrated into their society. Acahuallan Archosaurians have the culture of adornment of their tails which could sometime lead to some seemingly unrelated topics such as thickness comparison of their tails. They prefer to maximize the usage of their tails by holding tail-related contests such as log-dragging with tails. In recent years, there are even new sports influenced by foreign culture such as soccer games but kicking with tails.[1]

Trivia[edit]
- The meaning of the Archosaurians' Chinese and Japanese name, Ádakrys (see the infobox above), is likely an antonym to the idiom "crocodile tears".
Notes[edit]
- ↑ Only in the Chinese and Japanese names; the English localization solely used this in the description of Combat Medic. The name itself is derived from Ancient Greek αδάκρυτος (adákrytos, "tearless").
