Item description

Increases the DEF of Defender and Supporter Operators by +8% for each Defender or Supporter Operator in the combat squad

Use the hardest shield to block the sharpest spear. I guarantee you that the spear will break first, trust me.

Effect

Defenders and Supporters have their DEF increased by 8% for every Operator of the said classes in the squad. For example, when Croissant and Sora are in the squad, both will have their DEF increased by 16%.

Acquisition

Ceobe's Fungimist SPOILER

The player must have completed a run with Spearhead Squad and the Perplexed Traveller ending before Fortification Co-op - Resolution can be obtained from the next run.

In Crimson Solitaire, Fortification Contract - Resolution is added on its Expansion II in December 27, 2022, and unlike in Fungimist, can be obtained without any conditions.

Trivia

• Along with Assault Co-op - Sharp Blade, this Collectible's description is a reference to the Chinese parable of the sword and shield which gives rise to the proverb 自相矛盾 (Pinyin: zì xiāng máo dùn), meaning "self-contradiction."
