The Uraniborg or Empyreana Kazdellia is an in-planning floating city designed by Nasti Lunorey, the director of Rhine Lab Engineering section.

The conception of the Uraniborg was Nasti's witnesses on the millennia-old suffering of the Sarkaz. Like any Sarkaz, she too envisions that there will be a day when the Sarkaz could find their genuine "Promised Land", albeit she hopes they can aim for a higher goal: domination of the sky that no Terran has ever dared to. By having the Uraniborg as the city of the firmament, it not only serves as the Sarkaz' eternal settlement, but also allows R.L. to conduct research onto the Starpod and the outer space of Terra.

In order to fulfil her goal, Nasti actively collaborated with Kristen Wright to search for the lost technologies of the space-faring civilization that could fulfil her goal. Much of the research data for the Galleria Stellaria are essential for the development of the Uraniborg. As an honor to Kristen during the "Trimount Arc" incident, Nasti vows that she will one day engrave her name on the Uraniborg's furnaces.[1]

Etymology

Uraniborg is the name of a Danish astronomical observatory and alchemy laboratory built by Tycho Brahe during the late 1600s. The place was known to be the last observatory in Europe that was built without a telescope. The observatory's name literally means "Castle of Urania" which was dedicated to the Greek goddess of astronomy and stars.

Empyreana Kazdellia is the Latinized name for "High Heaven of Kazdel." Empyrean is the highest heaven in Western astrology, especially in Christian cosmology of the Renaissance that refers to the place where God resides as recorded in Dante's Divine Comedy.
