Set around the early 1098 before the Londinium crisis, To the Grinning Valley is a slice-of-life road movie featuring the Doctor, Amiya, and Savage returning back to Rim Billiton to piece up the Doctor's broken memories, from rebinding their friendship with Ray the wilderness huntress to uncovering the past of Amiya's parents before her adoption by Babel.
