The Rides to Lake Silberneherze is now live in the Global server, so let's return to the snowy (despite much of the world being in summer right now, but let's just brush that off) lands of Kjerag since Break the Ice and experience an adventure filled with both serious and funny moments, and in fact, the latter makes the event's story the funniest of all Arknights stories! RS also gives us a chance to pull for Degenbrecher, which you should since she is the first Operator capable of inflicting Frighten that could make your days easier, and buy new outfits for Qanipalaat, Penance, and Tsukinogi!
On that note, Global's 4.5th anniversary is approaching, as we only have three more content releases before the anniversary, which would be covered by Here a People Sows, is live, so we hope you're still up to tackle the coming stuff after pushing yourselves hard in Contingency Contract Pyrolysis...
Degenbrecher is a 6★ Swordmaster Guard introduced with The Rides to Lake Silberneherze; before this, she had been mentioned throughout Maria Nearl and Near Light, and acts as the deuteragonist and the main boss of Break the Ice.
Better known by her title, "The Black Knight", Degenbrecher's reputation as a three-time Kazimierz Major MVP before her employment as Enciodes Silverash's bodyguard precedes her, and that's also the case on her in-game incarnation where she is capable of inflicting Frighten to disarm enemies while they are blocked, allowing Degenbrecher and her allies to engage them with impunity, and all of her skills allow her to nuke enemies into oblivion.
Degenbrecher's Japanese voice is provided by Minami Takayama, best known for voicing the titular character in Detective Conan, while her English voice is provided by the German actress Nina-Mercedés Rühl as her debut in both ACGN and English voice acting. Furthermore, Degenbrecher's Korean VA Lim Yoon-seon is also known for voicing a major character in the Korean dub of Detective Conan – Masumi Sera.
