Full description
The sceptre borne by Leithanien's ex-ruler, the greatest and most notorious Caster in Terra's history, the Witch King. Owing to the grave troubles he brought upon the Leithanian people, and with a mind to the Twin Empresses' ascension and the unusual nature or their co-rule, this sceptre no longer serves as that of any Leithanian ruler, but is instead stored in the library of the Twin Empresses, now a cultural artifact. This sceptre's origin was as the Witch King's own staff. When the Emperor of Gaul dispatch an envoy to Leithanien, an attempt to take it as a vassal state, the easily-angered Caster King had every Gaulish emissary in Leithanien's borders rounded up, deconstructing and reformed as statues to send back to Gaul for display in his ire toward that nation. Consequently, the curtain formally parted on the start of the War of the Four Nations, and the Gaul-Leithanien conflict. With the aid of other nations, the Leithanian people achieved victory. However, their homeland had become an image of desolation in the process, and on lifting their heads, they still saw the Witch King carrying out his brutal rule. For the sake of saving Leithanien, in following their obtaining Gaul's territory, talent and technology, the electors covertly launched a plan that would come to reshape Leithanien... |
