Cross-cultural Comparison is Expeditioner's Joklumarkar's enhancement system, improved by spending Lucid Acuity and are arranged similarly to Phantom & Crimson Solitaire's The Preparations Behind Scenes, divided into four stages with each having various different nodes of four types that must be unlocked to unlock the other nodes and proceed into the next stage.
- Efficiency-Enhancing nodes improve the effectiveness of friendly units.
- Exploration-Expanding nodes expand the nodes that may be available during a run.
- Squad-Extending nodes, as the name suggests, unlocks the three new Squads exclusive to Expeditioner's Joklumarkar.
- Nature's Mercy nodes, which have various effects that are only active in a certain difficulty and does not require Lucid Acuities to unlock.
To complete Cross-cultural Comparison, the player must spend 100 .
Like Cognitive Shaping in Mizuki & Caerula Arbor, Cross-cultural Comparison is applied to all modes, including Expeditioner Record.
