Expeditioner's Joklumarkar: Cross-cultural Comparison

Cross-cultural Comparison is Expeditioner's Joklumarkar's enhancement system, improved by spending Lucid Acuity.png Lucid Acuity and are arranged similarly to Phantom & Crimson Solitaire's The Preparations Behind Scenes, divided into four stages with each having various different nodes of four types that must be unlocked to unlock the other nodes and proceed into the next stage.

  • Efficiency-Enhancing nodes improve the effectiveness of friendly units.
  • Exploration-Expanding nodes expand the nodes that may be available during a run.
  • Squad-Extending nodes, as the name suggests, unlocks the three new Squads exclusive to Expeditioner's Joklumarkar.
  • Nature's Mercy nodes, which have various effects that are only active in a certain difficulty and does not require Lucid Acuities to unlock.

To complete Cross-cultural Comparison, the player must spend 100 Lucid Acuity.png.

Like Cognitive Shaping in Mizuki & Caerula Arbor, Cross-cultural Comparison is applied to all modes, including Expeditioner Record.

Efficiency-Enhancing
  • Friendly units have their maximum HP, ATK, and DEF increased by 20%.
  • Increases the Command EXP from clearing operations by 30%.
  • Increases the squad size and Unit Limit by 1.
  • Starts with +2 Life Points.png and +8 Originium Ingot icon.png.
  • Earn 20% more Ecological Specimens.png Ecological Specimens.
Exploration-Expanding
  • Gains 1 Life Points.png upon clearing operations while having 3 or less LP.
  • Lost and Found, Bosky Passage, and Scout nodes may now appear.
  • Can refresh the Rogue Trader's wares once.
  • Adds one choice to Foldartals obtained from clearing operations.
Squad-Extending The Eternal Hunting, Life Prioritizing, and Scientific Thinking Squads are now unlocked.
Nature's Mercy
  • During a Braving Nature +3 or higher run:
    • Friendly units have their maximum HP increased by 3%.
    • Increases the Command EXP from clearing operations by 3%.
    • Starts with +2 Originium Ingot icon.png.
  • During a Braving Nature +6 or higher run:
    • Friendly units have their ATK increased by 6%.
    • The Operator sent away through the Scout Encounter returns with 2 ~ 5 Originium Ingot icon.png.
    • The Rogue Trader have two additional wares.
  • During a Braving Nature +9 or higher run:
    • Friendly units have their DEF increased by 3%.
    • Gains 1 Life Points.png when entering a Safe House.
    • Obtains 1 Objective Shield when clearing operations while having more than 10 Life Points.

Phase 1

Each node costs 1 Lucid Acuity.png to unlock except Musbeast's Hoard which will be automatically unlocked once any of the preceding nodes is unlocked.
