Return to me the moment that should be mine. That is all I ask, nothing more.
When she found out that the theater she worked for was more than meets the eye, her resolve to protect her friends only grew stronger, regardless of what their identities might be.

1-1

Sora Excuse me! Can I get these flowers?
And another pair of scissors so I can trim the stems myself?
Florist Here.
......
Do you only want the ones up here?
Sora Yes, one of my outfits just got patched up, but there's still a spot with stitches to cover. So, these flowers will do the trick.
Florist Want to take a look at this bunch instead? I think the color matches better.
[Received Flowers: "Beautiful, exquisite flowers, just enough to cover the stitches of the dress. The one who picked them was careful not to make even the slightest error."]

After hearing Sora's request, the shopkeeper skillfully opens up his toolbox and begins repairs.
After some small talk, the shopkeeper suddenly stops working.
Shopkeeper Did you just say you're a lead actress with Compagnia dell'alba?
Sora Yes. Is that a problem?
Shopkeeper Oh, uh, it's nothing.
The hand weaving the chain of pearls becomes just a bit more circumspect.
[Received Pearl Chain: "The shopkeeper seemed extremely capable. After hearing that Sora belonged to Compagnia dell'alba, those adroit hands became even more circumspect."]
2-1

Texas Sora, why don't you take a break? You've been going all over the place.
You don't have to go that far for this dress.
Sora I wouldn't care as much if this was just an ordinary costume dress.
But, Texas, the director is also the boss of the Bellone Family. You should know better than me that I'm more than just an ordinary actress now.
Sure, he acts like a kind and caring uncle to us. But, I... I'm not convinced that he won't try to use me as a bargaining chip against you.
I have to make myself flawless to him, whether in my role as an actress, or in other ways–
Texas I'll go with you, Sora.
Sora I know, I know. You won't let things get that bad.
But I need to make preparations of my own.
After all, I came all the way from Lungmen just to find you. You mean so much to us.
I don't want to put us all in danger.
2-2

Sora's terminal starts to beep.
Sora Hello?
Yeah, mmhmm. I'm already done over here.
Texas (Glances over inquisitively.)
Sora (*whispers*) It's a call from Exusiai. She wanted us to bring back some food.
What do you want? I just passed by a place selling chocolate marshmallow pizza and thought it looked pretty good.
That's what you were thinking too? Great! Then, we'll see you in a bit!
Remember to tell Croissant to come out and help us though. I bought too much stuff, and can't carry it all–
[Received Food and Drink: "The buyer knows her friends' tastes well, and purchased all of their favorite foods for them."]
Sora We're back~!
Exusiai, here's your favorite apple pie!
Exusiai Rock and roll!
Sora And here's your favorite sweet rolls, Croissant!
Croissant Yeehaw!
Sora Then there's the chocolate bar Texas bought for herself, and my marshmallow pizza!
We also picked up some trendy drinks! I know you like 'em cold!
Croissant Woah, how lucky am I?
But are you sure we oughta be eatin' two calorie-dense meals in a row?
Sora Calories don't exist as long as we're happy!
2-3

As the night deepens, most people slip into their dreams. But not Sora.
Outside, the moon glows brightly, a rare clear night sky in the rainy season. She wants to take in the sight.
But, she is not the only one who cannot sleep.
Sora Huh?
Texas You're awake?
Sora You didn't go to sleep?
......
I couldn't fall asleep.
Texas...
Tomorrow, I'm going to tell the director that if he's okay with it, I will stay in the troupe and be his hostage.
Texas ...Sora!
Sora I know you'd never go along with it. And if I said this tomorrow, you'd probably start arguing with me in front of him.
That'd make things worse.
Texas So, you got the idea to use yourself as collateral to guarantee my safety?
Sora Texas, I don't think of myself as collateral.
I'm your friend.
And I believe I can handle the consequences of my own decisions.
Texas ......
Sora I'd prefer to negotiate on my terms, rather than let the director run the show.
Don't worry. Lungmen showbiz isn't exactly child's play either. I can handle this!
3-1

Sora Texas, I knew you'd come!
Here! This is the last showing of our performance. And by the way, this is a friends-and-family ticket, only the leads get them!

Sora Just as I thought, everybody's gone...
Guess I'll leave it over here. If she comes back, she'll see the ticket I left her.
<Dialogue branch starts here>
[Choose "Put away the ticket" (only available once the Biglietto per La Morte di Texas is obtained)]
Sora ......
I'll put on the best show I can, Giovanna.
As an actor, and as your friend.
We'll see each other again, won't we?

4-1

Sora sits backstage, flipping through the script in her hands.
Sora "She never actually existed."
"The people kept looking and looking, but in the end, they found nothing."
"There is nobody behind the curtain. The figure given form through the people's ideas has finally dissipated."
......
When Giovanna wrote the script to this point, she must have gone through the same thing I did: suddenly realizing she knew nothing about the real Texas.
But she finally understood, and decided to walk away.
But if she actually came to one of my performances, she'd be able to tell that I actually tweaked the style and some of the lines.
I figured it out too. When it comes to friendship, the last thing you need is to ask yourself if you're worthy of being someone's friend.
When will I see her again...?
4-2

The curtain call comes, and the audience bursts into applause. Sora steps out onto the stage once more, standing among her fellow actors and looking down.
The audience is still discussing the grand finale, with some excited viewers even shouting or asking questions.
Audience So! The last Texas! Doesn't really exist?!
Nobody responds to him, his voice is drowned out in the sea of discussion. But, Sora does give him an answer in her heart.
Sora Does Texas exist? The last Texas of a certain family, the Texas that was helpless in the face of Siracusa, the Texas that was nothing more than an illusion in the end.
Of course she doesn't exist.
Sora looks toward the audience, and through the dazzling glow of the stage lights, she sees a familiar black-haired figure sitting below.
She thinks, of course no such Texas like that could exist. The only Texas who exists is the one who loves chocolate bars, falls asleep listening to her music, and will forever be her best friend.
This Texas, in fact, is sitting in the audience at this very moment. She's applauding, smiling gently at the girl bowing for the curtain call.
Exusiai and Croissant are sitting next to Texas, the two of them standing excitedly to wave at her.
Sora thinks to herself, this whole trip was so worth it.
4-3

Sora Ahh!!
You're squeezing me too tight, Exusiai! You're going to squish my hair ornament! I still have to return it!
Exusiai Woah! Are you actually Sora? Your acting was so good, it was unreal!
Sora Of course I am!
Sora looks out at the audience as they start to filter out of the theater one by one.
Croissant Are you looking for someone?
Sora Giovanna... I guess she didn't come after all.
Texas She...
Once she's sorted through her thoughts, maybe she'll come find us again.
Sora Yeah.
I included a note with Penguin Logistics's address in the envelope I put the ticket in.
If she sees it, I'm sure we'll get to meet her in Lungmen someday!
Exusiai And until that day comes, we first have to–
Croissant Party hard–!!
