Trivia[edit]
- Almost all characters illustrated by Huanxiang have a similar facial expression, earning the nickname "Heitu's face" (Hanzi: 黑兔脸) and "Lappface" by the Arknights CN and Global community respectively. This was eventually dropped in his later work, but nonetheless left an impression to the community, noting that it made Huanxiang's works unique.
- Because of his involvement in the development of Ex Astris, later-released Sui siblings (starting with Ling) and outfits of his characters were drawn by other illustrators.
- To note, Melodiosa (Sora), Midnight Delivery (Exusiai), Divine Oath (Fiammetta) and Blade-cleaved Tides (Thorns) were respectively drawn by Mag42, 尾鱼, YyB, and Studio Montagne.
- However, Lappland the Decadenza and Exusiai the New Covenant are both credited to being drawn by him. Oddly enough, Thorns the Lodestar is not, despite being released between the other two. The Decadenza's outfit Unruly Humbleness however, is credited alongside Mag42, marking it as the first occasion where 2 illustrators are credited for an artwork.
