The perculiar "cyborg" has been wandering across Terra for years, with no one knowing his true goal.

The enigmatic Tin Man has a very mysterious background. According to some legends, he is described to be a man who lives inside an unhabitable volcano.[1] He is said to be a Sarkaz who lives up to thousands of years witnessing the Sarkaz's never-ending suffering such as the downfalls of Kazdel/Teekaz. Through the Sarkaz's Revenant, he possesses onto a cyborglike body, hence allowing to outlive any of his Sarkaz kin. And thanks to his lifespan, he is well acquainted with both the immortal Kal'tsit and the pre-amnesia Doctor as well. Currently, he is on his quest to search for the remains of the now-extinct Diablo, as he does not wish to see various political factions blaspheming his kin's bodies.[2]

In order to fulfil his goal, the Tin Man has been disguising himself to be a private detective. He also serves the Columbian NGO Maylander where he acts as the chairman of its Historical Association so that he could mobilize his men to carry on his age-old mission.

As a renowned detective, the Tin Man is excellent in investigating many incidents. Notably, he figured out the tragedy of the Crimson Troupe and helped Saria reveal the secrets behind Rhine Lab's "Project Diαbolic" such as Kristen's approval for the experiment.

Thanks to the wrathful power of the Sarkaz's Revenant, the Tin Man possesses extraordinary Arts that could bend space and matter onto anyone that comes close to him, causing his opponent to fall into temporary unconsciousness.

Rhodes Island's Records of Originium: Rhine Lab

Lone Trail

The Tin Man was investigating the whereabouts of Kristen Wright, due to her relationship with Project Horizon Arc. Later, Maylander received information that the Columbian military were planning to assassinate the vice president at Rhine Lab. He requests assistance from Rhodes Island to prevent it from happening. With the help of other Maylander agents, they were able to reroute the VP to safety.[3]

The Tin Man was later contacted by Ho'olheyak to meet up with her in a back alley. He was already wary that she may have defected to Kristen, and knew that she had accessed Maylander's confidential files. He planned to stop her, but didn't realize he had fallen into a trap by Nasti Lunorey, who used a special curse that Revenants were weak to. The Tin Man admitted to being impressed by her skills, saying that very few Banshees were even capable of hurting him. His body was then destroyed using Ho'olheyak's Arts.[4]

However, being an immortal Revenant, he was not so easily defeated. His soul was able to make its way into a spare body. He resumed his pursuit of Ho'olyehak, finding her holding the Doctor captive in the S.H.A.F.T.. Using his powerful Arts, he was able to temporarily subdue Ho'olyehak. He then received a call directly from Columbia's president to "unconditionally" escort Rhodes Island to the Hall of Stasis.[5]

After defeating Ho'olyehak, the Tin Man went down below to rescue the Doctor and Kal'tsit. He was disappointed that the Hall of Stasis had nothing to do with Kazdel, but helped them regardless. He was later surprised to discover that Ho'olyehak had managed to rescue the "Preserver" using her staff. On the president's orders, the Tin Man demanded Ho'olyehak to hand him the staff, but she instead gave it to the Doctor. The Tin Man was convinced that the president would have the army subdue them, but the president has instead rescinded the order. With his task complete, the Tin Man lets the group go, under the promise that Rhodes Island returns the "Preserver" when the time is right.[6]

A Kazdelian Rescue

This section pertains to a subject that is not yet released in the Global server of Arknights.

The Tin Man took a brief vacation from his "job" in Columbia and returned to Kazdel after the Kazdel Military Commission's occupation of Victoria has ended. He strolled around the city for awhile before Nymph's Revenant fragment detector starts beeping at him indicating that he's a Revenant. He was initially met with hostilities from Nymph and Ermengarde, but eventually Ermengarde also took him to the core of the Soul Furnace to witness her attempt of the ritual to appease the Revenants. He helped Ermengarde to stabilize the ritual process by conversing with the other Revenants and pacify their souls.
