An Ursus student from the Peterheim Middle School in Chernobog, Anna Morozova witnessed numerous atrocities committed by her fellow students while they were trapped there during the Reunion-instigated uprising. These included the death of her best friend Vika for opposing Sonya. Anna managed to escape from Chernobog alongside Natalya Rostova, Lada, Rosalind, and Sonya and sought refuge in Rhodes Island as part of the Ursus Student Self-Governing Group. Since her arrival at R.I., she has been taking up the codename "Istina" and is currently practicing various Originium Arts she learnt from countless books to stop her enemies from hurting her fellow students. Also, she is using her vast knowledge to assist R.I.'s intelligence and information processing services.
Traumatized by the past events as described above, Istina suffers from a light form of PTSD compared to Sonya. She actively avoids talking about her times in Chernobog to mitigate it. The teddy bear she carries all the time is the only memento she has from her friend that she had to witness (and refused to help) fatally fall from the window.
Introduction
Istina is a 5★ Decel Binder Supporter who specializes in Slow and DPS. As a Supporter, Istina's attacks do Arts damage similar to Casters, but with a range of adjusted 3×4 tiles and, being a Decel Binder, also Slows the target for 0.8 seconds.
Talent
Explorer buffs Istina's ASPD but reduces her DEF.
- The DEF reduction makes Istina one of the most fragile ranged Operators and should be kept away from ranged enemies' reach, though the ASPD buff allows her to Slow enemies more frequently especially in conjunction with Concentration.
Skills
- Concentration reduces Istina's attack interval which increases at higher levels while active.
- Literature Storm buffs Istina's ATK, extends her attack range to the surrounding tiles with 3-tile extensions to all sides, and makes her attacks hit up to two (three from Level 4) targets while active.
Operator Module
The DEC-Y Module, Reading Notes, extends the Slow duration of Istina's attacks to 1.2 seconds in addition to increasing her maximum HP and ASPD. Once upgraded, Explorer's ASPD buff is increased and it also buffs Istina's ASPD further while her skill is active.
Base skills
- Supporter Expert α speeds up the skill Mastery training of Supporters by 30% while Istina is assigned as the trainer in the Training Room.
- Military Advisor increases the clue search rate by 10% and makes U.S.S.G. clues easier to obtain while Istina is assigned to the Reception Room.
Summary
Istina is a good Decel Binder Supporter who can slow down her enemies' advance better than most other Decel Binder Supporters could, despite of lacking in damage potential and defense vulnerability.
