Etymology[edit]
- Her Japanese name, "Azureus", is derived from the scientific name of the blue poison dart frog she is based on, Dendrobates tinctorius "azureus".
Distinctions[edit]
- Blue Poison is one of the four Operators who has a different name in other servers alongside Flamebringer, Myrtle and Leizi.
- Excluding alternate Operators, Blue Poison and Dobermann are one of the two pairs of Operators who shares the same illustrator and Japanese CV (in this case, they are both illustrated by LLC and voiced by Atsumi Tanezaki). The other pair of operators with this distinction are sisters Beeswax and Carnelian.
Miscellaneous[edit]
- Blue Poison was originally listed as affiliated with the Abyssal Hunters during the closed beta of Arknights. However, it was changed to Rhodes Island upon the game's release and later to Iberia in Under Tides (CN)/A Walk in the Dust (Global).
