Broca is a 5★ Centurion Guard who specializes in AoE and Survival. As a Centurion Guard, Broca has above-average HP and ATK, can block two enemies – three once he is promoted to Elite 2, and his attacks hit multiple enemies equal to his block count (despite what is stated in-game, Broca does not need to block the enemies for his attacks to hit them; the enemies just need to be within his range), but this is offset by a high DP cost.
Talent
Drill Strengthening buffs Broca's ATK and DEF while he is blocking at least two enemies.
Skills
- Galvanize buffs Broca's ATK and causes his attacks to deal Arts damage while active.
- High-Voltage Current buffs Broca's ATK more than Galvanize, extends his range to three tiles ahead of him, and causes his attacks to deal Arts damage and briefly Slow the targets, but increases Broca's attack interval while active and Stuns him for a short time after the skill expires.
- With High-Voltage Current, Broca's DPS is increased to sheer levels — more than what most other Centurion Guards could achieve — despite the slower attack rate with the extended range allows him to attack from behind another Operator or through walls, similar to Blaze with Chainsaw Extension Module, and the Slow can be useful to stall enemies.
Operator Module
The CEN-X Module, "Buddies", increases Broca's ATK against blocked enemies to 1.1× in addition to increasing his maximum HP and ATK. Once upgraded, Drill Strengthening's ATK/DEF buff is increased.
Base skill
Guard Expert α speeds up the skill Specialization training of Guards by 30% while Broca is assigned as the trainer in the Training Room. At Elite 2, Guard Expert α becomes Guard Expert β with a higher training speed boost of 50%.
Summary
Even though Broca lacks the means to last longer in the field like his fellow Centurion Guards Blaze and Specter, his sheer DPS potential allows him to give a "shock therapy" to those who stands in his way.
