Operator overview: Zima

An Ursus student from the Peterheim Middle School in Chernobog, Sonya was trapped together with other students during the Chernobog uprising. However, she was responsible for accidentally setting up fire in the school's storehouse which resulted in the destruction of the food supply. As the bloody conflict between the school's commoner and aristocrat students was becoming out of control, Sonya was forced to kill (or at least, ordered the death of) "unruly" students to maintain the school's order.

Later on, Sonya managed to escape from the chaos alongside Anna Morozova, Natalya Rostova, Lada and Rosalind, and sought refuge in Rhodes Island as the de facto leader of the Ursus Student Self-Governing Group. Since then, she picked up the codename "Zima", and is currently making use of her fighting skills against the Reunion who had destroyed her hometown by leading the charge with her hand axe. Her rough but decisive manner gives her the moniker "General Zima."

The experience of the massacre onto other students, however, causes Zima to suffer from a severe PTSD. Constantly, she experiences nightmares relating to the events in Chernobog. Worst of all, her own conscience keeps forcing her to regret her actions. In spite of her dilemma, Zima maintains a relatively relaxed attitude with her U.S.S.G. comrades and R.I. staff, including the Doctor, though she can sometimes be rude and demanding (which Istina clarifies to be half-joking).

Introduction

Zima is a 5★ Pioneer Vanguard who specializes in DP-Recovery and Support. As a Pioneer Vanguard, Zima has high HP and DEF, and can block two enemies; her HP and DEF is notably quite high for her rarity.

Talent

Spearheader reduces Zima's DP cost by 1. At Elite 2, Spearheader instead reduces the DP cost of all Vanguards (including Zima herself) by 1 while Zima is in the squad.

  • Spearheader allows Vanguards to be rapidly deployed early in the game, especially low-cost ones such as Myrtle who (at maximum Potential) will only cost 7 DP.

Skills

  1. Similar to other Pioneer Vanguards' first skill, Charge γ automatically generates 12 DP whenever it is charged.
  2. Ursus' Roar generates DP over 10 seconds, during which all Vanguards (including Zima herself) have their ATK and DEF buffed, and generates 1 DP whenever they defeat an enemy.

Operator Module

The SOL-X Module, A Graduation Gift for Генерал Мороз, increases Zima's ATK and DEF by 8% while she is blocking enemies in addition to increasing her maximum HP and DEF. Once upgraded, Spearheader also reduces Zima's own DP cost by 1 at Stage 2, which is changed to reducing the DP cost of Pioneers (including Zima herself) by 1 at Stage 3.

Base skill

Leader increases the morale recovery rate of Operators resting in the same Dormitory as Zima (including Zima herself) by 0.15 per hour. At Elite 2, Leader becomes General Z with a higher morale recovery boost of 0.2/h.

Summary

Zima is a great Pioneer Vanguard who can support her fellow Vanguards in leading the way for other Operators to be deployed later on by allowing them to be deployed earlier than usual and strengthen their performance as well as improving their DP generation. Remember, Comrade Doctors: united we stand, divided we fall!
