  • She is named after a province in Sweden and a region in Finland (often anglicized as Lapland, or Sápmi/Sámi by local language).
    • It is worth noting that the term is sometimes considered derogatory by the Sámi people, similar to a racial slur. This applies mostly to referring to the Sámi people as "Lapps", a term that is often, likely erroneously, conflated with the Sámi. Referring to the area as "Lapland" is commonplace and not considered derogatory.
    • Her family surname, Saluzzo, is the name of a town in Piedmont, Italy.
  • Lappland has the traits of the now-extinct Newfoundland wolf, notably a slender built when compared to other Lupo characters and white/gray hairs. This makes her one of the three, technically four, operators who are based on an extinct animal. The others are Texas, her alter Texas the Omertosa, and Passenger. Specter and her alter Specter the Unchained are also partially based off of an extinct shark.
    • This is confirmed by the number "1911" on Lappland's belt which can be seen in her Elite 2 artwork, referring to the year when the last known Newfoundland wolf was killed.
    • This also makes Lappland to draw an odd dichotomy with Texas, who is named after the now-extinct Texas wolf.
    • The crystal lupine figure shown in Lappland's Elite 2 artwork might be modeled after the Newfoundland wolf.
    • An official figurine based on Lappland's Elite 2 artwork appears to confirm this to be the case.
  • Even though Lappland is officially not a member of Penguin Logistics, she is often included part of it by the Arknights community due her close interactions with the P.L. members, especially Texas. Her official artist Huanxiang Heitu will sometimes include her in illustrations on P.L. Lappland also first appeared in a Penguin Logistics trailer for the game, bleeding from her eye, subtly implying that the scar she has was made by Texas.
  • Due to their past in the mafia, as well as one's seeming obsession towards provoking the other, Lappland and Texas is one of the most popular ships in the Arknights community.
  • Her Promoted to Elite 1 dialogue "You can't say the same for Texas, right?" (Original text: "德克萨斯做得到吗?" ; directly translated as "Can Texas do it?" ) is a very popular meme in the CN community.
  • Lappland's voice actress, Asami Imai, also voices Vira in Granblue Fantasy. Coincidentally, both characters share a similar codependency and personality disorder, which is easily noticeable by their socially inappropriate tendency to laughing fits and obsession towards a certain individual (Katalina for Vira, Texas for Lappland).
  • Lappland's English dialogues are spoken in Italian accent, fitting her Siracusan origin.
  • According to Arknights Global's first anniversary livestream, as of the end of Contingency Contract Pyrite, Lappland is the third most common Operator to be assigned as a Support Unit and the most common 5★ Operator to be promoted to Elite 2.
  • Lappland made an appearance in Ambience Synesthesia as one of the Arknights characters performing Manifesto alongside Emperor, Indra, Siege, and Ethan. She is voiced by Mary Clare Clemons of the American music duo Forts in the song.
  • Lappland, along with Texas, is often made a meme of by the Arknights community and the Yakuza/Like A Dragon community for having two characters share one common goal; Lappland wants to see the old Texas again, just like L.A.D fan-favorite Goro Majima wants to fight the "real" Kazuma Kiryu, the protagonist of that franchise.[1][2]
