An Iberian Aegir working for Raythean as a weapon systems expert and tester, Glaucus was born with a hereditary disease that atrophied her muscles and left her homeland at an early age under unclear circumstances, potentially related to her family's connections to "a heretical organization". Currently contracted to Rhodes Island, Glaucus operates the "Raythean's Franker", a hand-held EMP "rifle" originally used to jam communication devices but modified to be an effective weapon against drones.

Introduction

Glaucus is a 5★ Decel Binder Supporter who specializes in Slow and Crowd-Control. As a Supporter, Glaucus' attacks do Arts damage similar to Casters, but with a range of adjusted 3×4 tiles and, being a Decel Binder, also Slows the target for 0.8 seconds.

Talent

Countermeasure Device makes Glaucus' attacks target Drones over other enemies and increases the damage dealt against them.

Skills

1. Binary Reload buffs Glaucus' ATK and makes her attacks hit up to two targets at once while active.
2. Counter EMP has Glaucus release an EMP shockwave over a radius of 3 tiles around her, which deals Arts damage to enemies caught in its wake and Binds them for a short time; Drones will receive double damage from the shockwave and are Stunned instead.
   • With a decent SP cost and Bind/Stun duration, Counter EMP is a highly effective skill that can stop fast-moving enemies, especially Drones like Arts Masters A1 and Bombtails, dead in their tracks.

Operator Module

The DEC-X Module, Powered Exoskeleton, increases Glaucus' SP recovery rate by 0.2/second if there are enemies inside her range in addition to increasing her maximum HP and ATK. Once upgraded, Countermeasure Device's damage buff is increased.

Base skill

Electromagnetic Charge α increases the Drone generation rate by 10% while Glaucus is assigned to a Power Plant. At Elite 2, Electromagnetic Charge α becomes Electromagnetic Charge β with a higher Drone generation boost of 15%.

Summary

Glaucus is an unusual but effective Decel Binder Supporter who proves to be more than capable in shooting drones out of the sky, though not to the same degree as Marksman Snipers. However, she can still be useful to stall her enemies, especially Drones, to give time for her allies to dispatch them.
