At last, we reached the final iteration of Contingency Contract Operations, and what better ways to end it than a map which will test everything we have learned with our blood and sweat through all C.C. Operations over the course of three years? The answer is Nameless Sanctuary, acting as the ultimate challenge with only a single Protection Objective but three lanes to work with and is mostly a straightforward affair with Rabid Hound Pros rushing to the left lane and Guerrillas advancing through the right lane, so this should be simple, right?

Well, you're wrong; Nameless Sanctuary also features (Hateful) Avengers (what, you want us to explain them again?) who will move through the bottom lane in a manner reminiscent to those in Area 59 Ruins and there's only a few of them, but enter the main star of the show – cue a drumroll for THE Hateful Avenger! Make no mistake, this Hateful Avenger is a boss enemy boasting slightly better stats than regular Hateful Avengers along with the ability to charge at blazing speed upon approaching a friendly unit, reviving himself with 50% HP after his first defeat (thus the ATK buff will be active at this moment) and become immune to Stun while charging, and the Vengeance: Invincible Blade Contracts buffing his HP, increasing his ATK buff at below 50% HP, making him invulnerable for a while after reviving from Level 2, and, what's worse, gives him Status Resistance and reducing the Physical and Arts damage he took at Level 3! The Hateful Avenger's true menace to society starts with the Vengeance: Flame and Steel Contract, which is an upgrade to Invincible Blade III with the added effect of buffing his ASPD, doubles the ATK buff and damage reduction, and slightly extends the invulnerability timer; with these, the Hateful Avenger is known to be able to OHKO most melee Operators at above 50% HP and even do so on the strongest of Defenders such as Hoshiguma and Nian at below 50% HP!!
