Leizi is a 5★ Chain Caster who specializes in DPS. What defines Leizi as a Chain Caster is her attacks, which deals Arts damage to one target at a time with a range of 3×3 tiles and a 1-tile extension up front at Elite 1, can "jump" to up to three (four at Elite 2) additional targets in a radius of 1.7 tiles around the primary target and 1.8 tiles around the secondary targets with each jump dealing 15% less damage, and Slows them for 0.5 seconds, in return for having below-average ATK and high DP cost.

Talent

Unobstructed Flow increases Leizi's ATK against enemies that are not being blocked.

Skills

1. ATK Up γ buffs Leizi's ATK while active.
2. Thunderclap buffs Leizi's ATK more than ATK Up γ and removes the damage penalty of her attacks' jumps while active.

Operator Module

The CHA-X Module, "All the Thunderlight", reduces the damage penalty in each jump of Leizi's attacks to 10% and extends the Slow duration to 0.8 seconds (the same as Decel Binder Supporters) in addition to increasing her maximum HP and ATK. Once upgraded, Unobstructed Flow's ATK buff is increased and it has Leizi restore 1 SP whenever her attacks hit enemies that are not being blocked.

Base skill

Picky makes Operators assigned to the Reception Room more likely to find clues from their respective faction (e.g. Rhine Lab clues for Saria, Glasgow clues for Indra) but increases the morale drain rate of Operators assigned to the Control Center by 0.5 per hour while Leizi is assigned to the Control Center. At Elite 2, Picky becomes Discernment which removes the morale drain increase.

• To illustrate this, assigning Leizi (who are in at most Elite 1) with four Operators to the Control Center will drain their morale by 0.75 per hour before any Control Center-related base skills are taken into account, which is very significant and might be a consideration to promote Leizi into Elite 2.

Summary

Leizi is a very unusual Caster and an odd introduction to the Chain Casters who combines the strengths of both Core and Splash Casters into one package by attacking enemies outside her range if her chain lightning attacks jump onto them, in addition to slowing the victims that could help Leizi thin out enemy groups and weaken stronger foes before they reach the defensive line.
