Jump to navigation Jump to search

Franka is a 5★ Dreadnought Guard who specializes in DPS and Survival. As a Dreadnought Guard, Franka has high HP and ATK, but low DEF and can only block a single enemy.

Talent

Thermite Blade gives Franka's attacks a 10% (20% at Elite 2) chance to ignore the target's DEF.[note 1]

Skills

  1. Swift Strike γ buffs Franka's ATK and ASPD while active.
  2. Vorpal Edge buffs Franka's ATK and increases Thermite Blade's proc chance by 2.5× (to 25%, or 50% at Elite 2), but reduces her DEF to 0 while active.
    • Vorpal Edge turns Franka into a literal "glass cannon" who can inflict massive damage but cannot take as much, especially from hard-hitting enemies, but being able to trigger Thermite Blade more often allows Franka to usually defeat the enemies before they could seriously hurt her.

Operator Module

The DRE-X Module, Cutting Edge Thermite Unit, increases Franka's ATK against enemies that are being blocked to 1.15× in addition to increasing her maximum HP and ATK. Once upgraded, Thermite Blade's proc chance is increased.

Base skills

Originally Franka only has the first base skill, with the second being added on the Who is Real update in the Global server.

  1. Guard Expert α speeds up the skill Specialization training of Guards by 30% while Franka is assigned as the trainer in the Training Room. At Elite 2, Guard Expert α becomes Guard Expert β with a higher training speed boost of 50%.
  2. Clue Search α increases the clue search speed by 10% while Franka is assigned to the Reception Room. At Elite 2, Clue Search α becomes B.P.R.S which also makes Blacksteel clues easier to obtain.

Summary

Franka is a good Dreadnought Guard whose searing rapier is capable of piercing even the sturdiest of armor, making her use viable in operations that feature enemies with high mixed defenses.

Notes

  1. Contrary to popular belief, Franka's attacks that procs Thermite Blade deals Physical damage as usual instead of dealing True damage, so it can still be dodged/resisted and the damage remains subject to Physical damage modifiers and mitigations.
