Operator overview: Amiya
Operator | File | Story | Overview | Dialogue | Gallery | Trivia |
Guard | Medic |
Amiya is given as one of the starting Operators and (for the purpose of giving out Amiya's Token) one of the first clear rewards of 2-10, 3-8, 4-9, 6-17, and 7-18; she is never available from headhunting and recruitment otherwise.
As a 5★ Core Caster who specializes in DPS, Amiya's attacks deal Arts damage to one target at a time with a moderate ATK and attack interval, and a range of 3×3 with a 1×1 extension upfront at Elite 1, and has a decent DP cost. Unlike most other Operators, Amiya's Potential cannot be improved with Epic Caster Token, making her potential tied to the player's progress in the Main Theme.
As a word of caution, the player must promote Amiya to Elite 2 by the time Episode 08/Episode 14 is accessible to progress further in the Main Theme, since JT8-2 and 14-21 can only be started when an Elite 2 Amiya that is not a Support Unit is in the squad — this is no longer necessary once these operations are cleared for the first time.
Talent[edit]
At first, Amiya's talent has no effect and both named and described with question marks. At Elite 2 however, the talent is revealed to be Emotional Absorption which restores Amiya's SP whenever her attacks damage an enemy (not merely attacking them, despite what is stated in-game), which is increased if the attack defeats the target.
- Players who want to be safe with Amiya by using Tactical Chant γ over Spirit Burst or Chimera will find Emotional Absorption useful, as they can keep Tactical Chant γ active for most of the operation with it.
- Emotional Absorption can cover the very high SP costs of Spirit Burst and Chimera.
Skills[edit]
Amiya is notably the only 5★ Operator who has three skills like 6★ Operators.
- Tactical Chant γ buffs Amiya's ASPD while active.
- Unlike the other two skills, Tactical Chant γ is the only one with no drawbacks.
- Spirit Burst is automatically activated once charged, where Amiya partially unleash her Sarkaz King/Lord of Fiend powers to attack multiple random enemies in range with a barrage of multiple projectiles that deals a lesser portion of her ATK each while active, but she will be Stunned for a short time when Spirit Burst expires.
- Chimera has Amiya fully unleash her Sarkaz King/Lord of Fiend powers to greatly buff her HP and ATK, extends her range to 3×4 with 1×3 extensions on the sides, and causes her attacks to deal True damage while active, but Amiya will be forcibly retreated (despite appearing as if she had been knocked out in-game) when Chimera expires.
- Chimera allows Amiya to defeat elites and bosses without much trouble and survive attacks that would otherwise flatten her.
- Chimera's drawback means it should be used carefully; avoid using it on weak fodder that can be defeated easily, and only use it against dangerous elites or bosses, or only if it would guarantee victory.
Operator Module[edit]
The CCR-Y Module, DWDB-221E, restores 1 SP whenever Amiya's attacks damage an elite or boss enemy in addition to increasing her maximum HP and ATK. Once upgraded, Emotional Absorption's SP restoration is increased when dealing damage from Stage 2 and when defeating enemies at Stage 3.
Base skills[edit]
- Agreement increases the order acquisition efficiency of Trading Posts by 7% while Amiya is assigned to the Control Center.
- Violin Solo increases the morale recovery rate of Operators resting in the same Dormitory as Amiya (including Amiya herself) by 0.15 per hour.
Summary[edit]
While Amiya can be a double-edged sword as Spirit Burst and Chimera allows her to cause massive damage but with crippling drawbacks, she is easily accessible and will remain useful even after additional 5★ and 6★ Casters had been obtained. Indeed, contrary to earlier gacha games featuring weak or lackluster protagonist characters, Amiya is considered to be one of the solid Core Casters.
