Whislash is a 5★ Instructor Guard who specializes in DPS and Support, and the welfare Operator of Maria Nearl, awarded for completing the Offsite Match Venue mission which requires the player to clear MN-4 with Whislash's Token available in the Duty-Free Shop for 200
, 240
, 280
, 320
, and 360
. As an Instructor Guard, Whislash's attacks have a range of 2 tiles ahead of her and deal 1.2× damage against enemies she aren't blocking, though this does not allow her to hit aerial enemies like Lord Guards and certain Protector Defenders. Whislash can block up to two enemies and has modest overall stats.
Talent
Rebuke slightly buffs the ASPD and DEF of melee Operators with a block count of at least three.
Skills
- Motivational Skills makes Rebuke even more effective and affect melee Operators with a block count of two or lower, though with the half the effect for them, while active.
- Whip Sword makes Rebuke more effective, buffs Whislash's ATK, extends her range to 3 tiles ahead, increases her block count to 3, and causes her attacks to hit multiple targets within range equal to her block count while active.
Operator Module
The INS-X Module, Whipsword Wire.L, further increases the damage dealt by Whislash's attacks against enemies she aren't blocking to 1.3× in addition to increasing her ATK and DEF. Once upgraded, Whislash receives a second talent, Vision of Unity, which gives friendly units with a block count of 3 or higher one Physical Shield when she is deployed, or two for Kazimierzian Operators (including Pinus Sylvestris Operators) at Stage 3.
Base skills
Whislash's base skills improve Training Room efficiency while she is assigned as the trainer there.
- Guard Expert α speeds up the skill Specialization training of Guards by 30%.
- Drillmaster speeds up the skill Specialization training 25%.
Both Guard Expert α and Drillmaster stacks; hence, Guards' Specialization training will be sped up by ~63% in total.
Summary
While Whislash's quirks make her difficult to utilize effectively, her ability as an Instructor Guard to bolster defensive melee Operators will be well worth the trouble, allowing even weak Defenders to be almost as effective as Guards, and vice-versa.
