• Her codename is a reference to a demon in Germanic and Slavic folklores who rides on one's chest while sleeping, causing extremely unpleasant dreams, hence the name nightmare.
• She is also one of the six characters in Arknights with Heterochromia iridum along with Archetto, Asbestos, Quartz, Rosa and Whisperain. This is likely a reference to the Polish belief that one with such is likely to be a mare (see above).
  • As a Feline with white hair, Nightmare in particular is also partially based on odd-eyed cats, which are usually white with one orange and one blue eye, and are often deaf in the ear on the blue eye side, fitting with Nightmare's two-sided personality.
• Nightmare is the first Operator who can heal friendly units in each attack and, with the introduction of Hibiscus the Purifier, the only Caster with this capability.
• Nightmare is currently the only 5★ Core Caster available from headhunting and recruitment.
