Dur-nar is a 4★ Arts Protector Defender who specializes in Defense and DPS, and available in the Credit Store since Heart of Surging Flame Part 3 after the player has purchased all copies of Courier and Gavial with five additional copies of her available for the purpose of giving out 
Dur-nar's Token as the player spends more 
Credit. What defines Dur-nar as an Arts Protector Defender is her lower HP and DEF when compared to Protector Defenders in exchange for higher ATK and innate RES that is increased in each promotion (5 initial, 10 at Elite 1, 15 at Elite 2), and her attacks dealing Arts damage while her skill is active. Like Protector Defenders, Dur-nar can block up to three enemies and has a very short range of the tile she is on.

Sword and Shield buffs Dur-nar's ATK and DEF.
Skills
- ATK Up β buffs Dur-nar's ATK while active.
- Shielded Counterattack has defensive SP recovery, which buffs Dur-nar's ATK and makes her attacks hit multiple targets equal to her block count while active.
- With Shielded Counterattack, Dur-nar can act as a lesser makeshift version of Astesia and Centurion Guards at Elite 1 due to her block count of 3 (whereas Centurions must be promoted to Elite 2 to give them a block count of 3), allowing her to dispatch groups of enemies especially those with low RES easily.
Base skills
- Defender Expert α speeds up the skill Specialization training of Defenders by 30% while Dur-nar is assigned as the trainer in the Training Room.
- Snack Network has Operators in the Control Center (including Dur-nar herself) recover 0.05 morale per hour while Dur-nar is assigned there, which stacks with other similar base skills.
Summary
Dur-nar is a good introduction to Arts Protector Defenders who departs from her class' supposed role of tanking enemy attacks by instead punishing her enemies with hard-hitting melee Arts attacks. Sun Tzu was right after all: sometimes, the best defense is a good offense.
