Ayerscarpe is a 5★ Lord Guard who specializes in DPS and, unusually, AoE. As a Lord Guard, Ayerscarpe has a ranged attack with a range of 2×3 tiles and a 1-tile (2-tile at Elite 1) extension up front and can target aerial enemies, but with only 80% of his ATK; in the event Ayerscarpe is blocking an enemy, he will use a melee attack against them. Nevertheless, this allows Ayerscarpe to be conveniently placed behind a Defender or stronger Guard and contribute to DPS.

Talent

Seek Aid buffs the ASPD of Ayerscarpe and friendly units in the surrounding tiles.

Skills

  1. Shrapnel Burst has offensive SP recovery, which causes Ayerscarpe's attack to deal more damage as Arts damage towards multiple target within range and Slows them for a short time when charged.
  2. Activate Phase Blades extends Ayerscarpe's range to 3×3 tiles with a 1-tile extension up front (like that of Marksman Snipers before Elite 1 and Core Casters at Elite 1) and makes his attacks deal Arts damage while active, during which Ayerscarpe's attacks will also hit enemies blocked by friendly units in the surrounding tiles to him (including Ayerscarpe himself); these attacks are considered melee attacks, and thus are not subject to the trait's damage penalty.
    • Activate Phase Blades allows Ayerscarpe to aid in dispatching enemies who are being blocked by other Operators, making him highly useful when stationed in the rear — preferably behind two or more Defenders and/or Centurion Guards.

Base skill

Clue Search α increase the clue search rate by 10% while Ayerscarpe is assigned to the Reception Room. At Elite 2, Clue Search α becomes Clue Search β with a higher clue search boost of 20%.

Summary

Ayerscarpe is a solid Lord Guard who can easily take on high-DEF enemies and stall them when given the opportunity, though he separates himself from other Operators with the ability to attack multiple enemies at once and support others who are close by to him.
