The Guard version of Amiya (hence referred to as Guard Amiya) is an Arts Fighter Guard who specializes in DPS and Support, and are available once JT8-2 is cleared for the first time, which requires the player to bring Elite 2 Amiya into the squad. Once this is done, Amiya will automatically be switched to Guard Amiya unless she is undergoing Specialization training at the time, where she will remain as the original Amiya. Afterwards, the player can switch between Amiya's versions in her Operator menu through a button in place of the Promotion button.

Guard Amiya is considered to be the same as Amiya, thus her properties are shared with Amiya aside from attributes, skills, talent, Specialization Level (the player cannot switch between Amiya's versions while she is undergoing Specialization training), outfits, and dialogues.

As an Arts Fighter Guard, Guard Amiya's attacks deal Arts damage, allowing her to easily dispatch enemies with high DEF but low to no RES. Guard Amiya can only block one enemy, has above-average HP and ATK, average DEF and DP cost, and innate RES (15 initial, 20 at Elite 2); all of which are above the original Amiya.

Talent

Wrathful Cerulean Flame buffs the ATK and DEF of friendly units with the effect being doubled while Guard Amiya's skill is active.

• Wrathful Cerulean Flame synergizes the best with Ying Xiao - Fleeting Night (see below) since it can be used multiple times, and the buff is arguably superior than that of Instructor Guards' since it have no specific conditions.

Skills

1. Ying Xiao - Fleeting Night buffs Guard Amiya's ATK and causes her attacks to deliver two hits instead of one as well as giving her a 60% chance to dodge Arts attacks while active.
   • Ying Xiao - Fleeting Night is versatile enough to be used offensively and the defensively, especially when Guard Amiya is facing enemies with high DEF or Arts enemies with high ATK.
2. Ying Xiao - Shadowless has Amiya imitate Ch'en's Chi Xiao - Shadowless albeit with a greater range of the surrounding tiles with 3-tile extensions in all four cardinal directions and deals lower Arts damage, with the last hit dealing twice as much True damage. Furthermore, Guard Amiya's ATK and RES is also buffed for each enemy she defeats with Ying Xiao - Shadowless, up to three, and her attacks will deal True damage for a short time afterwards. However, Ying Xiao - Shadowless can only be used once per operation; the skill can no longer be charged for the rest of the operation once it expires after being activated.

Summary

The Guard version of Amiya is a solid Arts Fighter Guard who retains the ability to cause massive damage as with her original Caster version, but with greater survivability, allowing her to be more useful in many different situations.
