An Infected Yanese Forte Messenger, Wind Chimes act as the postwoman for villages in the remote northwestern Yan, delivering messages from outside and between each other, making her service crucial. She is also capable of defending herself well due to the risk of encountering highwaymen in her travels. Wind Chimes lend her service to Rhodes Island as a part-time Messenger in return for her Oripathy treatment.

Wind Chimes make minor appearances in A Death in Chunfen.

Introduction

Wind Chimes is a 5★ Crusher Guard who specializes in DPS. As a Crusher Guard, Wind Chimes has the ability to hit multiple enemies equal to her block count in each attack (despite what is stated in-game, Wind Chimes does not need to block the enemies for her attacks to hit them; the enemies just need to be within her range) like that of Centurion Guards which also extends to her DP cost, but with a much higher HP and ATK in return for being only able to block up to two enemies as well as having a high attack interval and no defenses whatsoever!

Talent

Mountain Traveler buffs Wind Chimes' maximum HP and gives her an ATK Vigor buff so long as her HP is above 50%.

Skills

  1. ATK Up γ buffs Wind Chimes's ATK while active.
  2. Longing for Home stops Wind Chimes for attacking for 5 seconds, during which she receives a Sanctuary buff and her ATK is buffed up to 50%. After Longing for Home expires or deactivated at the player's discretion, Wind Chimes unleashes a mighty swing that deals heavy Physical damage to enemies in her range and temporarily Stuns them.

Base skill

Hell and High Water reduces the morale drain rate of Operators in a Trading Post (including Wind Chimes herself) by 0.1 per hour and 0.01/h for every Worldly Plight while Wind Chimes is assigned to one. At Elite 2, Hell and High Water becomes Distant Letter with a higher morale reduction boost per Worldly Plight of 0.02/h.
