Lessing is a 6★ Dreadnought Guard who specializes in DPS and the welfare Operator of Zwillingstürme im Herbst, obtained by acquiring the first Lessing's Folder with his Potential being improved by obtaining additional Folders, all of which can be obtained through each of the Covert Visitations in Herzenfolgen.

As a Dreadnought Guard, Lessing has high HP and ATK, but low DEF, high attack interval, and can only block a single enemy.

Talents

1. Pain Focus reduces the damage taken by Lessing from enemies he aren't blocking while he is blocking one.
2. Whetted With Pain buffs Lessing's ATK for a period of time whenever he takes damage; the ATK buff cannot be stacked if Lessing takes damage multiple times in succession, but the duration will be refreshed.

Skills

1. Power Strike γ has offensive SP recovery, which increases the damage dealt by Lessing's attack when charged.
2. Clash of the Faithful buffs Lessing's ATK, makes Pain Focus twice (2.2 times at Specialization Level 3) as effective, and causes his attacks to deliver two hits for a short time after he is deployed.
3. Oathbreaker buffs Lessing's maximum HP, increases the damage he dealt when attacking blocked targets, and renders him immune to Negative Statuses while active. Unlike most other skills, Oathbreaker can be activated while Lessing is being affected by a Negative Status that disables him (e.g. Stun), in which case the Status will be removed but Lessing will take 600 Arts damage (which can knock him out).

Operator Module

The DRE-X Module, Blade Seal, increases Lessing's ATK against enemies that are being blocked to 1.15× in addition to increasing his maximum HP, ATK, and DEF. Once upgraded, Whetted With Pain's ATK buff is increased.

Base skill

Lessing's base skills improve the efficiency of upgrade material processing while he is assigned to the Workshop.

1. Law of Penance causes all upgrade material processing to drain 4 morale regardless of the tier. At Elite 2, Law of Penance becomes Law of Devotion with a lower morale drain of 3.
2. Lich's Teachings increase the byproduct rate of upgrade material processing by 80%.
