Operation guide: LTTB

Yo, wassup, Doctors? Some motherf**kers including the buster MC Kojui aka. "Sandstorm Rude" mocked the one and only OG Emperor, the rap god of Columbia, so, my brother-in-christ, let's ice these clowns while staying loyal to the beat!

...oh, well, we went a bit overboard on that one. Jokes aside, LTTB: Extraordinary rap battle! is an April Fools mini-game operation introduced to April Anthology in 2021 (CN)/2022 (Global). Don't be fooled by the operation's nature; LTTB is surprisingly difficult to clear with 3 stars if the player is not paying attention.

Basically, in the operation, Emperor himself (actually a device) is pre-deployed alongside Dobermann and Mousse who cannot do anything but cheering (including being retreated), and has a skill named "Punchline" (yeah, seriously) that activates three of the six Heat Pump Passages in front of the Protection Objectives. The Heat Pump Passages will instantly defeat any enemies on it and are the only offensive method as Emperor and his homies cannot attack (even though Emperor is shown having 999 HP/ATK/DEF and 99 RES). The enemies spawn in large numbers simultaneously and are lined up perfectly to be roasted by the Heat Pump Passages. Remember: if the player activates the wrong Heat Pump Passages, the enemies will be able to waltz into the Objectives!

Starting from the top to the bottom, the active Heat Pump Passages are distinguished by the following:

  • Blue: 1st, 3rd, and 5th
  • Red: 2nd, 4th, and 6th

Take caution that selecting any unit, which usually slows down the game, does not do so in LTTB, so the player must be very precise in using Emperor's Punchline to avoid slip-ups!
