Jieyun is a 5★ Artilleryman Sniper who specializes in AoE and Slow, and the welfare Operator of Where Vernal Winds Will Never Blow, awarded by completing the Yumen Arena Board of Fame mission which requires the player to clear WB-5 with Jieyun's Token.png Jieyun's Token available in The Swordsmith for 200 Freshly-Brewed Liedaozi.png, 240 Freshly-Brewed Liedaozi.png, 280 Freshly-Brewed Liedaozi.png, 320 Freshly-Brewed Liedaozi.png, and 360 Freshly-Brewed Liedaozi.png.

As a Artilleryman Sniper, Jieyun's attacks do splash damage affecting enemies in the adjacent tiles to the primary target with a long range of 3×4 tiles with a 1-tile extension ahead at Elite 1 or 3×5 tiles at Elite 2 and high ATK at the cost of high attack interval and DP cost, the latter of which increases in every promotion.

Talent

First Step Into the Wilds buffs Jieyun's ATK and reduces her DP cost on the first deployment.

Skills

  1. Seeking a Path buffs Jieyun's ATK and ASPD while active.
  2. Dust of Days Past has Jieyun throw her chakram straight ahead until it reaches the furthest tile within her range at which it stops and spins in place until the skill expires, during which Jieyun is disarmed; enemies struck by the spinning chakram, which has a larger radius than the splash damage radius of Jieyun's attacks, will take Physical damage equal to (a lesser portion at Level 1 to 3, a greater portion from Level 5) her ATK and have their movement speed halved.

Operator Module

The ART-Y Module, Pebbles, causes Jieyun's attacks to ignore 100 DEF in addition to increasing her maximum HP and ATK. Once upgraded, First Step Into the Wilds' ATK buff is increased.

Base skills

Jieyun's base skills boost Factory productivity while she is assigned to one.

  1. Ancient Witchcraft converts Worldly Plights into Witchcraft Crystals at a 5:1 ratio.
  2. Always on the Move increases productivity by 1% for every Witchcraft Crystal. At Elite 2, Always on the Move becomes Of Death and Rebirth with a higher productivity boost of 2%.

Summary

Like other Artilleryman Snipers, Jieyun can be useful in operations featuring hordes of enemies, especially Annihilation, and she sets herself apart from other Artilleryman Snipers with the ability to halt the enemy's advance akin to Shirayuki.

To her, the cycle of reincarnation is not just mere possession of one's soul, but a liberation from both eternal life and death.
