Hibiscus the Purifier is the alternate 5★ version of Hibiscus who is an Incantation Medic that specializes in Healing.

As an alternate Operator, the Purifier is subject to the following mechanics:

• Both Hibiscus and the Purifier shares the same Trust, but have different Potential, skills (as well as separate skill upgrades/Specialization training), talent, and base skills (as well as separate morale).
• Both Hibiscus and the Purifier have their own outfits and dialogues, and are available separately as the player's Assistant.
• Both Hibiscus and the Purifier can be present in one squad or the RIIC at the same time.

What defines the Purifier as an Incantation Medic is that she will attack enemies instead of healing friendly units, dealing Arts damage from the same range as Medical Medics; 3×3 tiles with a 1-tile extension to the front that is improved to 3×4 tiles at Elite 1, with decent ATK and attack interval though still lower than Core Casters. This does not mean that the Purifier have no way to heal friendlies as a Medic, however; when she attacks, she will also heal a friendly unit within her range for half the ATK.

Talent

Dusk and Dawn causes the Purifier's attacks to apply a short-lasting Arts Fragility to the target.

Skills

1. ATK Up γ buffs the Purifier's ATK while active.
2. Nurturing Touch causes two enemies within the Purifier's range to receive Arts damage every second and have their movement speed reduced while active.

Operator Module

The Purifier's INC-X Module, Crystal Corsage, increases the HP restoration of her attacks to 60% ATK in addition to increasing her maximum HP and ATK. Once upgraded, Dusk and Dawn's Arts Fragility effect is increased.

Base skills

1. Alternate Personnel has Operators in the Control Center (including the Purifier herself) recover 0.05 morale per hour for every alternate Operator (also including the Purifier herself) there while the Purifier is assigned to the Control Center, which stacks with other similar base skills (including itself!).
2. Nursing Specialist speeds up the skill Specialization training of Medics by 30% while the Purifier is assigned as the trainer in the Training Room; if the training is for Specialization Level 2, it will be sped up by 45% instead.

Summary

The Purifier is an idiosyncratic but solid introduction to Incantation Medics who takes the (mis)interpretation of the Hippocratic Oath to another level by harming her enemies and heal her allies simultaneously, and proves that healing is truly killing in reverse. Just like her sister Lava, Hibiscus truly grows up like a fine wine; the older the better.
