Operator overview: Hellagur

Hellagur is a 6★ Musha Guard who specializes in DPS and Survival. What defines Hellagur as a Musha Guard is that he cannot be actively healed by other friendly units (passive healing such as Bard Supporters' trait will still heal him); to compensate for this, he will restore some amount of HP in each attack (30 base, 50 at Elite 1, 70 at Elite 2). In addition, Hellagur has high HP and ATK in exchange for low DEF and can only block a single enemy, and his DP cost is staggeringly high, 26 at Elite 2.

Talents

  1. Waxing Moon gives Hellagur an ASPD Tenacity. It is worth noting that all other Musha Guards' (first) talent have a more-or-less identical effect to Waxing Moon.
  2. Ingenious Strategist gives Hellagur HP regeneration while he is not blocking enemies.

Skills

  1. Crescent Moon has offensive SP recovery, which makes Hellagur's attack deal more damage and deliver two hits when charged.
    • Due to being consistent and automatic, Crescent Moon is easier to manage than the other two skills and the fact it does two hits means Hellagur essentially recovers twice the HP in each attack.
  2. Half Moon buffs Hellagur's ATK and gives him a whopping 75% chance to dodge Physical attacks as well as making his attacks deliver two hits while active.
    • Half Moon allows Hellagur to inflict more damage and recover more HP like with Crescent Moon while allowing him to dodge most, if not all, physical attacks directed at him, making his trait less major a problem.
  3. Full Moon buffs Hellagur's ATK more than Half Moon, extends his range by an additional tile (two tiles from Specialization Level 1), and makes his attacks hit up to three targets within range at once while active.
    • With Full Moon, Hellagur becomes a pseudo-Centurion Guard with extended range, and the increased number of enemies hit also translates to more HP recovered in each strike, up to triple the HP in each attack!

Operator Modules

  1. The MUS-X Module, Zouhou, a Sheath for Contempt, gives Hellagur a 25% Sanctuary effect when his HP falls below 50% in addition to increasing his maximum HP and ATK. Once upgraded, Waxing Moon's Tenacity HP threshold and ASPD buff is increased.
  2. The MUS-Y Module, "Горячий Снег", allows Hellagur to survive a fatal hit (leaving him at 30% HP) once per deployment in addition to increasing his ATK more than Zouhou, a Sheath for Contempt and DEF. Once upgraded, Ingenious Strategist also takes effect while Hellagur is blocking an enemy — effectively making it active at all times — and its HP regeneration rate is increased at Stage 3.

Base skills

  1. Release increases Hellagur's morale recovery rate by 0.55 per hour while he is resting in a Dormitory. At Elite 1, Release becomes Break Loose which increases the morale recovery rate of Operators resting in the same Dormitory as Hellagur (including Hellagur himself) by 0.1/h instead. At Elite 2, Break Loose becomes Absolution which combines the effects of Release and Break Loose.
  2. Arts of War increases the byproduct rate of Skill Summary processing by 80% while Hellagur is assigned to the Workshop.

Summary

Hellagur serves as a great introduction to the Musha Guards. Though he cannot be healed by his comrades, this venerable Operator will utilize his years' worth of experience to cut down all in his path, knowing that anything that does not kill him makes him stronger. Besides, if Hellagur's enemies are dead, why should he bother with healing anyway?
